3.3 Implementation of KB

To represent KB as an ontological graph of knowledge, the approaches proposed in [17] using the Neo4j graph database system [18] were chosen.

In fig. 6 shows a graph that displays the top-level concepts and the relationships between them.

Educational standards approved by the Ministry of Education and Culture of Ukraine [3], which represent a set of characteristics and requirements for training and are related to the Specialties included in a specific Field of Knowledge. For example: Field of knowledge - 12 Information technologies, Specialty - 123 Computer engineering.  In addition, the Standard is determined by its relation to the Level (degree) of education. For example: Master.

Specialties and Fields of knowledge form a hierarchy and classify Standards. For example: Standard of higher education of Ukraine: second (master's) level, field of knowledge 12 Information technologies, specialty 123 Computer engineering.

In fig. 7 shows an example of such a hierarchy for the Faculty of Information Technologies.

The educational institution develops educational programs based on the requirements defined in the relevant Standard (Fig. 8). A closure is formed where the Educational Program implements the Competencies and refers to the Standard that defines the requirements for these Competencies. A set of Competencies formalized in the form of a DAG forms a kind of space, through the coordinates of which all elements of the educational process must be determined in the future: work programs, methodical materials, tasks, tests, evaluation results.

The Space of Competencies will allow further formation of the student's educational path, as the trajectory of his movement in this space: from the starting point obtained as a result of the initial assessment, through the completion of tasks and tests to the final one, which records the results of education. Including in this process the possibility of self-evaluation through interaction with the agent environment of the system can make the learning process iterative and continuous.
