The study of approaches to the application of KBIA in the field of EL is carried out in the work. The object - KBIAs operating in a changing virtual environment, and the subject - analysis of AOD approaches and KR methods for their application in EL support subsystems such as LMS, ITS and CBE are defined.
To achieve the goal of the research, an analysis of the current state of in the field of IA was carried out and AOD and KR means and tools were studied; the possibilities and limits of the application of the studied methods for building a system of interacting KBIAs are defined; made proposals for the development and integration of subsystems of intellectual support for EL based on knowledge and processes of the subject area of the higher education sphere.
The research was conducted by performing the following tasks.
At the analysis stage, such basic concepts, processes and methods as KR, cognitive processes, reasoning, adaptability, learning and problem solving were studied. The structure of the object and the subject of research is shown. IA classification is proposed and features of KBIA are noted. The relevance and expediency of using AOD and ontologies in EL is substantiated.
At the modeling stage, models and methods of IA, KR, planning and decision-making were investigated and tested. The KBIA model is proposed as a system of interacting agents and their possible specialization. Prototypes were programmed, training and test examples were executed, necessary data was prepared.
At the development stage, scenarios, functions and process actors in EL with intelligent components are defined. The classification of components and their interaction is shown. Implementation of KB as an ontological graph of knowledge by means of a graph database system is proposed. Examples of the formation of KB elements to support relations at the level of educational standards and programs are given. Approaches to transforming unstructured and weakly structured text information into KB ontological graphs by means of NLP are outlined.
Summarizing and reviewing the path traveled, the following main conclusions can be drawn.
- The current state of development of information technologies, digital infrastructure and volumes of available information require the automation of intellectual work.
- A promising approach to the creation of intellectual activity support systems is the application of AOD and ontological KR.
- The EL industry is an important area of KBIA implementation.
- ITS and CBE - will cause, in our opinion, a revolution in EL and in education in general, will raise them to a qualitatively new level.
